Publication and Media Specialist, EU - China River Basin Management Programme [复制链接]

Introduction
The overall objective of the EU-China River Basin Management Programme is to attain China’s water resources that are compatible with current social-economic and natural global change. Conceptually the programme follows a sequence whereby policy is transformed into management formats and planning, which is transformed in implementation activities.
Relevant Programme activities
In order to develop the awareness of the public and of government organizations a series of media initiatives need to be planned, designed, published and distributed. This will take the form of: publications in various forms and other media options relevant to the programme in Chinese and English to be made available for counterpart agencies, the local population (including awareness of gender issues and children) and other interested parties.
Throughout the programme, a substantial number of trainings, workshops and seminars are to be conducted. For these activities training materials, informative documents, publications etc. need to be prepared and produced. Furthermore, for different (technical) research and studies the outcomes are to be published as well. Contents for web-based platform and other media will be considered in order to introduce the programme to a wider public.
Qualifications required
A. University degree in environment or media related topic
B. Experience in publication and other media activities related to environmental protection
C. Competence to coordinate a broad series of publications, media presentations and other formats for public awareness for both adult and younger sectors of the population
D. Fluency in both written and spoken English
E. Working knowledge of Chinese language
Duration and location
This is a 4-year position. The duty base is at the Main Programme Management Office in Zhengzhou.
